SPLIT FIELDS OF PLAY

This is a joint use Recreation and School field. The one on the right has been replanted and given two months to recover from the over use the field on the left has suffered. The RENEWED field on the right is unlikely to last a month if managed like in the past.
The field on the left has continued to receive abuse from too many sporting event (soccer)hours being played on the field weekly. The right field was spared for the first 3 days after it was reopened by allowing only 2 evening of young children playing soccer for 3 hours before closing, but on Feb. 27th they resumed their normal abuse by moving the grass short in the morning and allowing 5 hours of adult Soccer to be played with the field split up with 2 games being played at once. I'll post another photo in 4 weeks or less
