Yesterday the surface of the field looked smooth apart from animal tracks.  Today the snow looked like smoke blowing across making patterns on the ground and the drifting snow made it awkward to walk on our planned footpath. Even walking along the main road was too dangerous because the snow was being blown from the fields onto the road causing westbound traffic to drive through the snow.  A little snow has fallen a couple of times later but after tomorrow I expect there will be no more snowy walks with the warmer weather.
