Valentines Day

He arrived into the lounge with this stem of three wee buds, how sweet is he.  Picked from the garden,  wrapped up in his floppy hat to protect from the nasty thorns. The kitchen table in the background is loaded with goods from the pantry *sigh*. 

A phone call from friends mid morning announcing a impromptu bbq, so a quick think of what to take, into the kitchen making a potato bake, some “befores“ and dessert.  It is amazing what variety and yumminess four ladies can come up with at short notice. 

We’re just home, in time to catch the boat racing, then tennis will take us into the evening. 

A lovely day spent with our special friends, so lucky and we know it. 

Late News....three community Covid cases in Auckland who have been placed in Level 3, the rest of the country Level 2 for three days. Bummer.
