Back in country

Managed to get car out of at least 3” of solid ice, mainly by Deb dumping a 20lb bag of salt round it the night before. So we’ve left NYC and back in country house about 110 miles north.
A good drive up and yard man had cleared path up to house, so we didn’t have to dig ourselves in for a change.
More snow forecast on and off this next week, so it’ll be back to the jigsaws.
