Still icy...

... Happy Valentine’s Day.

I am celebrating by cleaning up a very old food mixer. (It still works, yay).
Note to self, when putting kitchen equipment away in future, never assume that you’ll be using it again soon. It could be 15 years or more.
I have found the old recipe book that came with it much longer than 15 years ago (I know, once a hoarder.. Mea culpa).
Hats off to the sales team who convinced us to put our old-fashioned forks away, in order to mix cottage cheese, cream, Worcs sauce, garlic, basil and a dash of Tabasco?  
I’m left wondering why we would have formed the ensuing mixture into a ball (that would be a big ball) and chilled it.

Wild thought... Was this the origin of cheese footballs?
Hands up all who remember cheese footballs.
One word springs to mind.. ‘claggy’. (And they made the roof of the mouth sore. Maybe just me?).
