Fieldfare

A lovely morning of yoga class, cooking and painting.
In the afternoon we walked through to Morningside, via the hospital grounds.  On the way home we stopped to take photos in the orchard and when I had finished taking photos, I noticed this beautiful bird sitting on the ground next to me.  I felt very pleased to be in such close proximity to this very beautiful bird, who was not going to move away from its apple.
