Distorted view

I spent an unreasonable amount of time today sorting out my wife's email issues.  I have reconfigured her email so it now works again, but I don't know why the original configuration failed, so there is always the possibility it will fail again.  These tools which are supposed to make our lives easier sometimes end up being a source of great frustration.

In the end I didn't get out of the house until it was virtually dark, so I played again with this striped tablecloth.  On previous occasions I have distorted the pattern using a pair of spectacles (not very successful) and a glass of water (that worked  quite well).  This time I have used a glass sphere which probably gives the best distortions.
