H is for Health and Safety!
Halty Bear is very thrilled with his new wardrobe and wanted to be out and about in his new waterproof coat. When we had an email from Margret (next door) to go and check the safety of the icicles at her porch, he was in his coat immediately. He had to wait until after my Zoom meeting....
It was the last meeting of the eight photographers who had been working together on a Covid-19 project since November 2020. We have worked so hard to make the collaboration successful and now we don't want the meetings to end! (Every week since November.)
Our book is completed and goes to the tutors for a final check. We meet them next week along with the other group who have been working on the same project. We are dying to see their book!!
Halty and I set off to Margret's before lunch. There are icicles hanging very high and the worry is that they will fall and hit someone (Margret) on the head. Here you see Halty who has been attached to a broom handle and raised high up to check how strong they are.
It was a wet job and his jacket kept him dry. Thank you Julie.
I took him for a walk after this. We found a wonderful snowman in one of the fields and he had to climb it. See extra.
Our walk was on the back road to Haughton Main Farm and it was a sheet of ice in places. Quite tricky to navigate.
PS Halty is actually checking the icicles on the broom but I made it look as though the icicles were up high.
