Cheers! Happy Valentine’s Day.

No bubbly for us but a lovely G and T.
Cornish Dr Squid Gin ( made with real squid ink) made by Pocketfull of Stones .
The copper flask is engraved with the scenery, wild life, folklore and history that surrounds the distillery at Long Rock near Penzance.
A lovely memory of our holiday last year, and looking forward to going down to Cornwall again in September.
The coaster is from the Wave Gallery in Porthleven. A fantastic photo of a wave in the shape of a heart.
Also a memory of a very happy day, back in June 1967, when we were married as the beautiful glasses were a wedding present.


Our special meal was Moorland Game Pot, made with pheasants and partridge.
Followed by Cherries Jubilee.

Now settling down in front of a roaring fire for a cosy night in.

The weather is getting warmer at last and the rain is washing the snow away.
Back to walking in mud!
