Valentines Day

We exchanged gifts and cards today and have eaten rathe a lot of sweet treats today! We mostly stayed home apart from a quick trip to Waitrose to pick up a John Lewis order - a replacement saucepan and colander to replace the ones I melted by accident the other day - and a new jumper as I feel I’ve been wearing the same ones for a while
now! We had steak and poutine for dinner which was a lovely treat. Later this evening our neighbours dropped over some left over birthday cake from their 3 years old daughters birthday. It must have been an enormous cake - it was delicious and covered in sweets. I really didn’t need it....

We watched “Under the Tuscan Sun” this evening and I’m now contemplating how much a small villa might be...

Great to hear the UK has passed the 15 million vaccine mark today. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long before we get ours. It’s a positive sign anyway.
