Pleased to see puddles

As anticipated by the forecasts, today we finally had some proper non-freezing weather! I'm feeling relief after 6 or more weeks of really cold, icy and snowy days. As I walked along Reelig driveway I suddenly realised that I was seeing puddles again (instead of ice). Not having to bundle myself up quite so much, just to go out for a walk, put a spring in my step!
Extra photo is just a leaf that caught my eye, before I reached the puddles..... something else left behind after the snow and ice.
