Gooey

Gooey chocolatey banana loaf cake baked with love for my best buddy as a cheer up cake. He had a nasty fall in the snow in the week and has a sore back. Chocolate helps aches and pains, I said. Beer too, he said.

Still snowed in here but the rain has started tonight so hoping it thaws the snow overnight so I can get my car out. Serious cabin fever after a week of snow. It’s been too icy in the lanes to risk long walks on my own.

Hilarious family video chat this evening. My connection was useless due to the dodgy power surges in the village. My brothers were cooking and my parents kept covering up the mic. But we had a giggle all the same.
