First Class Virgin

I went to London today on the train. Usually, I go via Swindon with First Great Western but Swindon had signalling problems and I was forced to go via Birmingham.

This might have been an inconvenience normally, but it was fantastic! I was lucky enough to be travelling out on a 1st class ticket and found that Virgin's idea of 1st class is miles ahead of FGW's.

An additional bonus was that I still arrived on time even though I went the long way around!
