Happy Valentines Day

My Valentine surprised me with a treat today. Homemade melt in your mouth shortbread cookies.

Yummm.

It was a good day. I was in my study at the church early this morning working and apparently that was when she baked them.

The service was good, people were in a good mood. I’ll take that these days.

We had a good video call with our granddaughters this afternoon which was much needed. And then, speaking of needed, a three hour nap!

Some supper, an Miss Marple Mystery, and it’s time for some more of these great cookies and good tea.
