The More I Relaxed, The More He Relaxed.

Lots of snow still on the ground and once again blocking many of the higher roads with snowdrifts including according to the local police, my route to the yard! Mel assured me that China was fine and getting plenty of time out in the field.

I went to meet my friend K and her dog Ted for a short walk by the canal and took Dylan on his first walk in a busier place. After a few embarrassing moments as he went chasing off to say hello to people and dogs walking by completely ignoring me, I was able to catch his attention first and get him sitting and waiting as people and dogs on leads walked past. He enjoyed meeting the dogs that were not on leads and was friendly and confident with them.

Overall I was really pleased with how Dylan took it all in his stride and the more I relaxed, the more he relaxed. He certainly slept well for the rest of the afternoon in front of the fire.
