Social walk

Freezing rain was forecast and I had been asked to go for coffee at bubble friend H’s house, so dashed off for a walk first.  Went part way up to the big waterfall, but the pathway started to get quite busy, so went down to the edge of the beck and watched the Dippers.  Too flighty to get a good shot with my camera, but pointed them out to another photographer who seemed to get some shots with her long lens.  Main photo is of one of the smaller waterfalls, and some other features from the walk in extras.  Lots of icicles still around, but starting to thaw now.  On the way back there was a sudden heavy shower of almost hail, but stopped for a chat with 2 couples I know, and the rain stopped quite quickly.  Halfway home met some neighbours, so another chat.  Finally made it to H’s about an hour after I had said I would! The rain set in then, so got wet on the short walk back home.
