On top of the world

Our snow has gone. We aren’t freezing any more.

I played a bridge game this morning and afterwards, I decided to head off up to Castle Ring and maybe walk one short lap.

It was far too busy for my liking. The car park was nearly full, but I was still able to keep my distance.

They’ve demolished most of the buildings at Rugeley B Power Station but the big containers are still there. Somehow, with the bracken cut back, you get a clearer view of the pretty villages. And even the windmill. 

Fresh air - and freedom - on top of the world.
