Olympic Artemis

After the weekly visit to the supermarket I made a visit to the harbour area. The first time since the freezing temperature and snow of last week.

While I was there I saw the pilot boat going out, so I knew if I waited long enough there would ne a ship coming in. It was quite a long wait. The Olympic Artemis is a maintenance, inspection and repair vessel.

There was some sunshine, so I got a picture as the ship entered and passed in front of the sun.

Most of the snow has now melted, and compared with the freezing temperature last week it almost felt warm. The wind was cool, but there was some heat in the sun, temperature got to 8º. There is still some snow around in shaded areas.
