Miniature Iris

For some unknown reason, in previous years these little Irises were magnets for some form of wildlife which managed to damage the flower stem at the base causing the flower to fall over. Just like felling a tree!
The Algae have really multiplied  on top of the tub during a very wet Autumn/Winter, maybe they will help protect the flowers?
