Freezing rain

As we were watching tv last night there was another loud crash and the snow came off the roof on the other side of the house.  We will not need to shovel that side.  I will put a phone snap of the shoveling yesterday in the Extra Photos for anyone interested, it is quite a snowfall for us. 

This morning we woke up to freezing rain, it has already started to thaw and regular rain is now in the forecast.  This shot is the freezing rain on the coral bark maple in the courtyard.  Husband had taken a week of vacation this week we were planning to head up to Port Ludlow, with the weather we have had we stayed home, but hope to head up later today or tomorrow.
