Solitary Bird

Can you spot the solitary bird?  This is a seriously long distance blip taken out of the bedroom window first thing this morning as mist was rolling along the line of the beck.  

News of the day is that I'm booked in for my first vaccination on Wednesday.  It hasn't been a very productive day, just a couple of things in the post, some Czech learning and the odd housey job.  I did go out for a run with Hobbler pal Sally after she had finished work and that was enjoyable.

If you enjoy your food and like interesting radio programmes, do search on BBC Sounds for this week's Radio 4 Food Programme which looks at the life and work of Charles Campion who died in December.  It is both educational and entertaining, and I particularly enjoyed the aubergine pickle story and the Knights of the Black Pudding.
