Old currency

50 years ago today we changed to decimal currency in the UK. I can remember my husband's grandmother saying she thought it was a good idea but the government should wait until all the old people died out!!
My father in law bought us a set of old coins and I've blipped them with old pennies and halfpennies. The old coins were really rather beautiful and I feel a bit nostalgic for them!
