Everything Transformed

So we got about 4-6” of snow so far. More due mid-week! I love how snow transforms everything! This looks like an egg in an egg cup! It’s actually the snow on top of an upside down wine bottle in one of my raised beds.
Both coffeehouses are now closed. The downtown one because of the dangerous driving conditions and then the other one closed because of a power outage this morning!
We are due to have a power outage in our area, but nothing so far has happened.
But David has lit a fire and I heated some soup and put it in a thermos in case we can’t cook later on. Candles are on standby and batteries are checked in flashlights. I washed and dried a load of laundry. Not sure what else to do to prepare!
