Morning Mist

Half term and the kids deserve a lie in so a friend and I have planned some early walks as we both like to make the most of the day. With the low mist we decided the valley was the best option so walked through Hirst Wood, along the canal to Bingley, and back along the river.

J was just up when I got back and C soon after. This afternoon I managed to persuade them both out and we had a enjoyable walk along to Goit Stock.

After her successful baking of Fat Rascals last week, C this afternoon made some more. This time cherry and coconut, and double chocolate with a blob of chocolate hazelnut spread in the middle. Yum!
