Battered Heart and Flower

Mr P bought me my favourite piece of jewellery over 25 years ago for either a Valentine present or a wedding anniversary. As we were both a bit hit and miss at buying presents for these celebrations l can’t remember which occasion.
Whichever, the boy did good that year.
It certainly is a treasure.
Though the longer we were together the more consistent we became.
I love it because it’s unique in how the silver has been battered.
It’s hard to display and photograph but l hung it over the glass that contained a battered snowdrop that l came across yesterday.
It has made a miraculous recovered.
Had to put an apple behind the glass to weigh the chain down.
Just debating whether to make some batter for pancakes :-)
