A Bit of History

We're slowly emptying our loft and this is a box that I can use for packing my computer gear – not the PowerMac G4, of course (that was sold ages ago) but all the ancillary gear that I've accumulated, including loads and loads of backups.

One day my disks will be unreadable by any current device, but for the moment, I feel that I'm cast iron . . .

. . . unlike the conveyancing process.  I'd like to put pressure on the poor girl who is responsible for the sale and the purchase (linked) but a) I know that she's under enough pressure and b) it would probably be counter-productive.  We'll just have to continue being accessible and punctilious with the paperwork that she sends us.
