New life

My new passport photograph has been accepted by the passport office and surprisingly not broken any machines or frightened the staff.  I was so sure they would ask me to Photoshop it.

We had a little rain this morning but it is now 4 p.m. and the sun has come out (presumably so I knows where to set).  Even without the sun the conservatory is warm enough to sit and read.

I spied a miniature iris in the garden this morning so ventured out with my camera and spotted another three, with more to come.  The ground is terribly squelchy so no chance of doing any weeding just yet.

This evening it's an internal camera club competition and I'm reasonably optimistic.  I may regret those words.
