Final wander

Before driving home, we took a walk on the beach.  The weather was beautiful.  There were many dog walkers and families on holiday, but the beach was wide enough so that it was not as disturbing as on the sometimes narrow hiking trails in the hills at home.

At home I tried to find some carnival-like broadcast on TV or radio, in vain, there was a lot of talking, but there was no music. I'm curious what will come as a replacement tonight for the annual final party that gives our village a little provincial fame every year.  The Limburg Alaaf Foundation will offer a varied live music program via its Facebook page and website.
It kind of looks like I'm carnivalist, but to be honest,  I like it, but rarely participate.
