I went to the Beach Today

... well the end of Lake Geneva where the Grand Canal enters it. No Kingfisher sighting but saw quite a few Little Grebes (extra), a first for me. They are only half the size of normal Grebes.

I needed a rest day but it has been quite stressful as Preston has so many hair balls on his underside and we decided to deal with them ourselves. The vet gave us tranquilisers for him but they don’t knock him out completely and he still fights us. We shall have to take him back to the vet I think or Preston won’t speak to us ever again. No wonder people usually keep their Maine Coons indoors, he comes in with twigs, grass and leaves stuck in his fur .... any advice anyone?
