The Sky at Night

For his 18th, my youngest decided he would like a telescope. So with a bit of money from a few sources, he started to look into what would be a good first telescope.

Unfortunately he soon found out that during the various "lockdowns" that we have had to endure, many people decided the same thing so trying to get your hands on one was very difficult.

Eventually this model came available and as it was in the price range, he decided to go for it.

It's early days and we've not ventured too far a field but tonight we had a brilliant close up of the moon!
