It didn't take long for the mud to be back.  Martin took the hose to them this morning (albeit futile).

Perhaps he was thinking of Sam, who also uses his wellies to go walking.  One of the fringe benefits of a house full of boys is that no one has ever wanted to borrow my clothes or shoes.
