Pancakes.

Shrove Tuesday.  Traditionally "Pancake Day".  So after a day of good progress at the Lodge we headed home late afternoon.  For reasons I don't know or understand it seems I am the only person who has ever been able to make pancakes in our house.

So not having blipped anything I arranged a still life, with a little help from my artistic director.   I was asked about the weighing scales.   I am afraid my reaction was what would I want those for.  I have made pancakes all my life and have no memory of ever having used a recipe.  I just learned how to make them from my Mum who also didn't seem to a recipe.have
