Sleet, Sleet, Go Away

What a nasty day! It poured sleet all morning before finally moving out early this afternoon. It was tough shoveling, near impossible, really, because it was more like chipping away and removing. But it’s done. We have two dry cold days ahead before another round on Friday • A tough day to photograph birds. Overcast skies filled with sleet made for a murky backdrop, but I like this photo too much not to blip it. To capture two male house finches together is special so here they are!
