Lithgow
The challenge hosted by Steveng this Wide Wednesday is Bright Colours.
I went on an excursion with the Photogroup to the nearby town of Lithgow on a damp, overcast day so there wasn't a lot of bright colour to be seen.
Lithgow is a real workers' town with a history of iron and steel production, coal mining and once had a small arms factory with 6,000 employees.
Most of that is now gone but it retains a genuine old world charm.
No doubt it will be re-discovered soon :-(
