today i have the paperwork for the adoption of Bulu Mata (which means eyelashes).  Bulu is a he, not a she has i had assumed from his pretty looks. He is a Sumatran orang-utan who was born in Budapest Zoo in 2014.  his mother died when he was 1 week old.  Soon after he was taken in by Monkey World, which is a few miles away from me.

i hope the lockdown eases a little to allow the children of our village school to visit him this year.
