Croci

Today I painted the bathroom door, in egg shell blue, and it looks great. I'll wait and see if it needs a second coat tomorrow, but I'm pleased with it. The kids love the colour and are dropping hints about the other doors. Sigh. 

I went for a walk with my eldest. Our intention was to walk up to and round Canal Gardens, but they were shut. On the back gate it said closed due to ice - its' 10 degrees today, and no ice left. The front gate said closed due to staff shortages. Not entirely sure about that - its not as if it has security. But all gates were locked. The photo is of the crocuses or croci, beginning to pop up along the routes of the park. Always a good sign of Spring.
