From 1732
L3 Day 60 A visit to Ham House. Quite a dull day but made a change to go there and it was not busy. The sweet chestnut tree on the left of the house in the stable yard looks very old...maybe nearly 300 years old? The interesting lead water tank near it is dated 1732. See extra. A tree in my blip for Joe Tree!
Hopefully on my next visit all the 1000’s of bulbs they have planted will be flowering. Just snowdrops, a few daffodils and the first crocuses today.
On my way home I saw the seal which is currently staying around Teddington Lock, today it was in the big lock which was open. Not near enough to get a good photo.
