Snow gone, heather out
A bright, mild day
I must admit, this week I am enjoying the combination of being retired and not having services or sermons to prepare. It allows me the luxury of watching tennis from the Australian Open. Today it was a thrilling four hour duel between Nadal and Tsitsipas, with the ‘young gun’ winning in the end.
I must admit I am a bit conflicted about all these professional sportsmen being able to travel around the world during the Pandemic but on the other hand, lockdown would be even harder if there was no football or tennis (or even cricket) to watch.
There is no doubt Government policy makers have many hard decisions to take at a time like this. As the saying goes, rather them than me.
The snow has finally gone from our garden and the hardy purple heather is in full bloom. Great to see it.
