Card collection

I keep a few cards in a box and will be using a few as a few birthdays are coming up.  I also need a card for our neighbour where we used to live in Scotland.  Her husband passed away this week after finding out he had incurable cancer around Christmas.  It has all been so quick and must be utterly devastating for her and their girls.  At least he was able to spend his final days at home with the girls he loved. It makes me so sad for them all, he was not much older than us. I want to send a card but do not really have anything suitable…. I am wondering about using the dots notecard, my neighbour lovely nice colours and I am sure she liked dots.
 
Such things always make me think what should we be doing with our time, you never know what is going to happen.  However, I generally have no idea what I want to do most of the time.
 
Work was busy, I am plodding on with my big report and hope to finish it next week.  I have another one to start at the end of the month but it will be much shorter and quicker to do.
 
More rain today, we could do with a few days off now and a bit of sunshine.
