It was actually a productive day for me, except that I didn’t take many photos, leaving me with few choices for a blip. So why not a close up of this cozy knitted throw? At the time of the click, I was curled up in it, in front of the fire, with two cats eyeing my lap. (Calico now ensconced firmly in aforementioned lap)
This morning I finally pulled together all of the tax papers, a time consuming but necessary job. Hubs just has to provide a few bits of information and then off it will all go to our accountant. Whew.
This afternoon, I met up with two friends for a very frosty 2.5 mile walk. It was only in the mid 20’s F so I was thoroughly chilled when I finally got home. It was fun walking and chatting though. One of my friends runs the avian rescue center so she was filling us in on some of her current “guests”.
We are bracing for another dump of snow tomorrow, possibly up to 9 inches, followed by ice. I can’t complain though because I have friends in Texas who are dealing with much worse at the moment. No electricity, burst pipes, and an energy grid that seems to be stretched beyond capacity. This has definitely been a tough winter all across the US.
If all goes on schedule, my parents will get their first vaccine dose tomorrow morning. I will be anxiously awaiting a thumbs up from dad.
Stay safe, be kind. I recommend dark chocolate with almonds today.
