Favorite Breakfast...
...and so healthy! I eat it more often than anything else.
The base is a half cup of oats, microwaved in milk with some dried cranberries.I got that idea from resident chef, C. I let that soak for a few minutes and then add a half cup of the cereal, followed by everything else. The apple is sometimes replaced by pear or banana, and the chopped walnuts are interchangeable with sliced almonds.
All together, it's a hearty meal, and easily keeps me going until lunch --which is usually something smaller.
