Bahrain recorded 896 new cases, 2 fatalities and 627 recoveries today

This was the highest number of Covid-19 cases ever recorded in a day in the country.
Bahrain registered 841 new cases on September 16 last year and a staggering 812 on Thursday.
BAHRAIN has witnessed an unprecedented surge in Covid-19 infections with the country recording the highest number of cases per million people among the GCC nations from February 1 until Thursday.
Most of the recent cases recorded have been of the mutated strand of the virus which was first detected in the UK

Registration is open for the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine
The Sputnik V vaccine, produced by the Gamaleya National Centre for Epidemiological and Microbiology Research, Moscow, Russia, is the fourth vaccine approved for emergency use in Bahrain, following the approval of three other vaccines: Sinopharm,  Pfizer-BioNTech and Covishield-AstraZeneca.
All four are available free of charge to citizens and residents.
