A tree for Joe Tree
An appointment in Berwick meant a trip out in the van through some lovely countryside on a very Spring-like morning. While were there, I also took the opportunity to pop into the Green Shop for a couple of essentials (and a couple of tasty morsels too!), and we stopped at the petrol station where MrM topped up the fuel in the van just in case I ever manage to book a vaccination. So long ago that we couldn't remember the last time we bought fuel!
Back home for a very late lunch. Just in time to tackle a couple of chores before the supermarket delivery arrived. So much excitement in one day! Tried again several times to book a Covid jab, without success, so guess I'll just have to keep trying or be very patient and wait for the surgery to phone...
On the way back from Berwick we passed this tree, standing alone and exposed by the hedge at the edge of a field, and MrM stopped the van briefly so I could take a couple of shots - after all, it is 'Joe Tree Day'. A day worth celebrating as without Joe this wonderful site wouldn't exist, and none of us would be here sharing, caring, inspiring (you all inspire me, anyway), and generally being nice to each other. Thank you Joe!
