Finally I managed to get this year some decent shots of a male bullfinch. Yes it is! Liked this shot as his beak looks so curiously small in this. And the song came immediately to mind - "If you wear red tonight". This chap always wears red.

A cold morning of -25C so I ventured out for a walk later in the sunshine and "only" -15C. The cold weather and thick snow meant that the bird feeders would be popular with the birds and thereby I chose to visit one such place. I managed to get pictures of also blackbirds, tits, and a woodpecker.
