Black Swan

A very unusual sight, seen on the moat of Arley Hall, near Wigan, home of Wigan Golf Club, which we passed on our walk down a stretch of the Leeds/Liverpool canal today.
Unfortunately, back in October, the female died, but they have already found a replacement, and hopefully they will become a 'pair'.
Arley Hall allegedly dates from the C12, but most records date from the early C18, and it's been a Golf Club since 1898.
