Sea watching
We went in the opposite direction this morning which meant we walked down towards the beach and then home via a network of water lanes. The sun was glorious and dare I say warm. We lingered here above the bay and watched the rollers coming in. The sea is always this incredible colour when the sun is out which I think is because it is quite shallow with a sandy seabed. Signs of spring are everywhere, budding trees and the first celandines and primrose cheered us on. We didn't meet anyone and so the dogs were able to stay off the lead for the entire walk.
We have a few more days to go before it is Izzys birthday. Thanking online shops and the postman for deliveries of books. (Izzy is a bookworm) Dragons and dragon lore are her favourite things to read at the moment. We have arranged some iced biscuits with her name on to be delivered and she will have a little family party at home. It is planned that we will have a family birthday for everyone during the summer, as many family birthdays are in the next few weeks.
