A lovely rooftop

I love the decorative tiles and chimneys on this house (there are more at the back of the house but out of sight in this photo).

It used to be my very favourite house in the village.  It was owned by an old gentleman called Mr. Rainbow and had leaded lights and was surrounded by plants.  It looked like a magical fairytale house! 

Mr. Rainbow died and the house was modernised.  It is probably much more warm and comfortable, much more suited to these days too but aesthetically (to me) has been ruined with it's modern windows and everything opened out.  At least the roof still looks beautiful.
