Wasn’t expecting that

This morning brought the gas fitter to replace a valve in our boiler and hopefully give us hot water rather than lukewarm water.
Then the post arrived with a jury summons for April. I’ve asked for it to be moved to the end of June so as to not interfere with planned meetings with two of the 3 girls and a trip to Orkney (virus permitting). Can’t say I’m keen but it’s a civic duty which I think we should all embrace when asked.
And this afternoon we went on a quest to find free wood chippings for between the raised beds on the allotment. Mission accomplished and then we went and spread them.
Pleased with the results of our efforts.
