Legging It

‘That Dance like nobody’s watching
quote has been done to death.
Don’t you agree?’ she asked.
 
There was a collective shrug
from all at the Convention
of Two Left Feet.
 
Why would we have an opinion?
 
‘It’s such a cliché,’ she sighed
and turned her attention
to the delegates
from the Inhibition Conference
 
who froze in their seats.
They were one solid
block of ice.
 
So she danced
 
and everyone
(sort of)
looked away.
