Living Dangerously
When you live in a land filled with forest then photographing a tree you can see clearly is not so easy. These tree are seen nearly every day on our walk down to our local lake. As usual at this time of year the lake is frozen and covered in snow, so not easily visible, but it starts a short way beyond the fallen tree.
The title refers to how unsafe a tree, growing on the edge of the water, is when there are beavers in the area. The tree in the background was felled by beavers. The smaller tree in the foreground is definitely living dangerously.
Today's blip is celebrating Joe Tree Day, in honour of the man who first set up Blipfoto.
